Precision 1 Property Inspections was founded by David Dorcich, a BPC-registered Building Practitioner with a combined 30 years of experience in the building industry as a carpenter and joiner, together with extensive experience in professional property inspections. Over the past seven years alone, David has personally conducted more than 2,000 property inspections across Melbourne, developing a strong understanding of both modern and established construction and the defects commonly encountered in Victorian homes.
David's experience goes well beyond inspecting completed properties. Having spent decades working as a carpenter and joiner, he understands how buildings are actually constructed from the ground up, how individual building elements interact, and where defects and underlying problems are most likely to occur. This hands-on trade and construction background brings a practical perspective to every inspection and allows potential issues to be assessed with the knowledge that comes from having worked directly within the building industry.
